Lean Fundamentals Certificate

The University of Houston Six Sigma Lean Designation and Green Belt Certification program is a comprehensive and interactive 3-week blended learning experience that combines online modules with classroom learning. Our Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean program is based on a case study approach, allowing participants to apply training directly to a real-world example.

The program is structured in the following way:

Weeks 1-2: 20 hours of self-paced online modules to prepare for Week 3

Week 3: 5 days of classroom training, scheduled Monday-Friday from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Students take their Green Belt final examination during the afternoon of the Thursday class session and must achieve a score of 70% to earn the Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate from UH.

Students will get a full day of Lean training on Friday, the final day of class.
