Program Description

This online course covers the following topics: Preliminary piping design and a general overview of piping, including factors which effect the overall configuration, the initial piping layout, the total system, introductory pipe stress analysis (flexibility concerns and other design considerations); and how all those factors ultimately influence pipe support and pipe hanger design.

This is a self-paced course consisting of 8 sections. The student will have four (4) weeks to complete the eight (8) sessions. Sessions must be taken in sequential order.

This course is approved for 8 PDH hours for Texas Professional Engineers.
